Another question is this. If Eric Decker doesn't go out of the game, do the Broncos win? I mean would Demaryius Thomas even get the chance to be the hero? Thomas did have 204 receiving yards of Tebow's 316. And this was against the #1 pass defense in the NFL! But would Tebow have thrown more to Decker, his de facto #1 WR, had he stayed in the game? I don't think that Decker makes that run to glory in OT as Thomas did. Call Thomas what you want, an under-achiever, a little overweight, but for one glorious day in the Mile High City, he was a king.

This is a great question. As much as I dont want to say this because injuries are never something to root for, Decker's injury was arguably the best thing that could have happened to the Broncos. Not only is Decker overrated(He is the worst #1 receiver in the NFL) but him and Tebow have just had no chemistry all year. Tebow has shown that he likes throwing the ball to his other receivers, especially Demaryius and to a lesser extent Royal.

Demaryius Thomas missed the majority of the season with an injury, BUT he did return at a very convenient time when Tim Tebow as just getting settled and together they took off. Eric Decker fantasy owners cried over the horrible drop offs in numbers, the fact is that Thomas is A STUD. He had MULPTIPLE 10+ fantasy point performances as he aided in the winning streak just as much as Tebow. Eric Decker was Orton's target, there was no Thomas, and what record came of that? Exactly. Thomas is night and day to Decker. Decker will not be missed AT ALL
