When we hear the name O.J. Simpson all we can think of is the murders back in the mid 90's of his former wife and Ron Goldman. My wife turned me on to the fact that Simpson was guilty after I explained, "How can he murder anyone? He was one of the greatest football players of all time." People forget what a great player he was out of USC. I even remember his guest shot on Medical Center and subsequent movie career. But he wasn't the smartest man that ever lived and we did get the "white man's verdict." After a Super Bowl party back in 2000, a young Ray Lewis seemed to tie Simpson's record for most murders by an NFL player at 2. But he did sell out his friends and got to pay a massive fine to the NFL and received a year's probation for his troubles. But that doesn't take away from his greatness on the field. He is the undisputed team leader and one of the best LB's at least in my time.
